Gross Electric is a leading electrical contracting firm specializing in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects across the East Coast. We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to support our executive team and ensure smooth daily operations in our headquarters.
About the Role
This position combines high-level executive support with hands-on administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable juggling priorities—someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes initiative to keep things running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to executive leadership and department heads
- Manage calendars, scheduling, emails, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and format correspondence, reports, meeting notes, and presentations
- Assist with HR tasks including onboarding, training coordination, and maintaining employee files
- Support office management—ordering supplies, coordinating vendors, organizing workspace logistics
- Track company deadlines, key project milestones, and leadership priorities
- Assist with event planning, company meetings, and internal communications
- Maintain confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Help coordinate invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports as needed
- Jump in where needed—helping the team stay organized, accountable, and efficient
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as an executive assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs
- Professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a construction or industrial setting
Preferred
- Experience supporting executives or managers in construction, engineering, or related fields
- Accounting background is a plus
