The Job Description:
- Operate Grinders, CNC Machines, Gear Rolling Machines & Manual Lathes
- Assists with the production of cold forming/forging splines, gears, and custom shapes on various types of steel and aluminum bar stock.
- Uses precision inspection instruments and tools to ensure all product is to the correct specifications.
- Produces an acceptable amount of product each shift by meeting or exceeding the production rates/goals.
- Obtains manufacturing orders, verify orders are correct and determines whether order is complete or incomplete.
- Strives to continuously improve safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Completes all required company and customer documents.
- Communicates with other employees in a calm professional manner and listens well.
- Complies with relevant occupational health and safety requirements.
- Keeps the production area clean and organized.
- Assumes responsibility for safety, quality, production & accuracy.
- May be required to perform other tasks as required.
The Requirements:
- Good communication skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate math skills.
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
- The ability to stand for 8 hours.
- The ability to read calipers and micrometers preferred.
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
The pay & Benefits:
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour starting (Pay is based on experience)
$1.00hr shift premium.
