JOB DIMENSIONS:
Job Summary:
Under moderate to extensive supervision, performs basic assembly, hydrostatic, endurance, design verification, and operational performance tests of new and existing products.
Reports to:
Operations Manager
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Warehousing – to include Cycle Counts, Inventory Accuracy, Timely System Transactions
- WIP Management – to include timely and accurate production support
- Shipping and Receiving Oversight
- Allocate service materials
- Will Call Coordination
- Organize
QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES:
Any combination equivalent of, but not limited to, the following:
Experience/Training/Education:
Currently enrolled in a secondary educational program perusing at bachelor’s degree in
a technical field of study. Basic understanding of hydraulic principles and control
systems; Some experience in laboratory and/or manufacturing mechanical testing and
assembly/test of hydraulic components desirable. Some experience in piping/plumbing
systems, fuel handling, and laboratory testing is desirable.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of math, hydraulics, pumps, and valves;
- Ability to learn LabVIEW or equivalent data acquisition system;
- Ability to read and accurately interpret pressure gauges, flow meters and data acquisition equipment;
- Ability to read, understand and interpret mechanical drawings, electronic schematics, and wiring diagrams;
- Ability to generate, complete and maintain accurate test documents;
- Ability to organize and lay out work generated on computer;
- Ability to maintain a clean and exceptionally organized work area;
- Skilled in the use of basic hand tools such as wrenches, air wrenches, sockets, and torque wrenches;
- Basic knowledge of drafting\engineering drawings
- Ability to read and interpret production blueprint specifications, engineering change orders and new engineering data; and
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 45lbs.;
- Requires ability to move heavier materials using hoists and manlift equipment;
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time during the workday;
- Ability to operate various types of office equipment such as computers, printers, photocopiers and other office equipment, as applicable;
- Most work tasks are performed indoors where temperature is moderate and controlled by office environment systems;
- Ability to work (sit and/or stand) for majority of the workday; walking and/or standing may be required for the remainder of the workday. Length of time performing these physical requirements may vary from day to day and task to task;
- Requires grasping, writing, sitting, standing, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, bending, stretching, reaching, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity; and
- Ability to perform essential functions of the job, as defined;

The pay range represents the low and high ends of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs.
