What You Will Need
- Four-year degree in Biology, Food Science, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in food safety, quality assurance, or produce industry.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety systems including HACCP, FSMA, Preventive Controls, GMPs, GAP, SSOP, and GFSI standards.
- Experience with environmental monitoring programs and microbiological testing required.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, LGMA, USDA).
- Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, food safety manuals, and product specifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and QA/QC systems (e.g., Safety Culture, Highland Hub, GIS, Famous Software).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, auditors, and customers.
- Must be able to travel as needed between fields and facilities.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean DMV driving record.
- Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical, and functional capacity evaluation
- HACCP, PCQI, SQF Practitioner, or equivalent certifications.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and general labor regulations.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Total Rewards: $80,000 - $100,000 / Yearly

- Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
