Griffith Centers is seeking a knowledgeable and energetic Training Program Manager to design, coordinate, and deliver high-impact training programs that ensure compliance with the organization’s Residential, Education, and Foster Care rules and regulations. This position plays a vital role in fostering excellence across all program areas while also leading organization-wide professional development that promotes safety, compliance, and staff growth.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to assess training needs and implement strategies that enhance staff competency and compliance through the development, scheduling, and delivery of training programs aligned with CDHS standards, accreditation requirements, and organizational priorities.
- Maintain accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation within the Learning Management System (LMS) and other tracking platforms.
- Coordinate campus-wide onboarding, orientations, and ongoing training for new hires and existing staff; manage invitations, reminders, and completion tracking.
- Monitor training compliance metrics specific to expectations and report findings to leadership, auditors, and program managers.
- Assist in updating and improving training policies, SOPs, and learning materials to reflect new or revised standard and/or regulations.
- Maintain active certifications in de-escalation and restraint training; facilitate sessions as required by regulatory and accreditation bodies.
- Provide additional organization-wide training on key topics such as professional development, safety, and compliance standards.
- Assists with employee development by identifying growth opportunities, creating individualized career plans, mentoring staff, and recommending resources like leadership tracks or skill-building certifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience designing instructional materials and delivering learning experiences.
- Previous experience delivering de-escalation and restraint training strongly preferred.
- Previous experience delivering de-escalation and restraint training required.
- Familiarity with Colorado regulatory landscape strongly preferred.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment, in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for childcare facilities. This screening includes initial and ongoing state criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex offender registry searches, and abuse and neglect clearances. If the employee has lived in any other state within the past five years, equivalent background and abuse/neglect checks from those states will also be conducted. In addition, employees are required to complete a health evaluation or physical examination prior to beginning service to confirm fitness for duty, and annually thereafter.
