They are seeking a motivated, hands-on Operations Manager who is excited to grow into a Plant Director role.
This is a highly visible leadership position within a high-volume food and beverage manufacturing operation. The Operations Manager will spend significant time on the production floor coaching and developing frontline leaders, driving continuous improvement, setting priorities, removing obstacles, and ensuring the plant meets its safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
The role will oversee 2 direct reports and approximately 225 indirect hourly employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with rapid product turnaround.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience leading production operations
- Spanish-speaking ability required; bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- A servant-leadership style with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing teams
- A strong track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance
- Experience with Lean, TPM, or other continuous improvement methodologies preferred
