Greg’s Speed Shop is seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Mechanic / Automotive Technician to join our team. Our shop works on classic cars and high-performance builds. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem solving, and being part of a shop that values craftsmanship and car culture, we want to hear from you. We are one of the largest custom car shops in the country.
Our facility specializes in complete auto repair, restoration, performance upgrades, engine rebuilding, and custom automotive work. We take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail on every vehicle that comes through our doors.
We have a full Engine Machine Shop and Engine Dyno.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brakes, tires, and suspension work
- Perform tune-ups and general automotive diagnostics
- Work on transmissions, exhaust systems, and drivetrain components
- Assist with restoration and custom vehicle projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with shop management regarding repairs and timelines
- Ensure all work meets shop quality and safety standards
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive mechanic or technician preferred
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with classic cars, performance vehicles, or restorations is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own basic mechanic tools
- Valid driver’s license

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
