Body & Collision Technician
Greg’s Speed Shop – Waupaca, WI
Qualifications
- Be able to execute the repairs needed without direct supervision and guidance
- High level of dependability, punctuality and dedication.
- Proficient in all aspects of collision repair including dent repair, panel replacement, and surface prep.
- Skilled, in the use of body filler, sanding tools, and metalworking techniques.
- Experienced in prepping, mixing, and applying automotive paint (Not Necessary)
- Remove and safely store all moldings, emblems, and door handles prior to priming or refinishing
- Prime, edge or jam replacement
- Pre prepping projects for paint by removing grease, dirt, paint, or rust from surfaces
· Perform full automotive bodywork and refinishing on classic, vintage, and custom vehicles along with Daily Drivers.
· Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer, sealer, and base coats.
· Repair and restore metal panels, fiberglass parts, and custom body modifications.
- Maintain clean work environment, communicate effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically able to stand, lift, bend, and work in varying conditions for extended periods.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Painting experience is a bonus
Education & Certification
- Certification in collision repair or refinishing, preferred.
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in auto body repair and refinishing preferred, Not Necessary
- Experience working on daily drivers, late-model collision repairs and custom/classic restorations is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
