What You’ll Be Doing
- Support and troubleshoot GPS and machine control systems on active job sites
- Assist with setup, calibration, and implementation of machine control equipment
- Work with field teams to ensure systems are being used correctly and efficiently
- Provide hands-on and remote support to operators and field personnel
- Train crews on machine control systems and best practices
- Track and manage machine control files, models, and version control
- Coordinate with survey and modeling teams to ensure accurate, usable data
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve production
- Work with vendors (Topcon, Komatsu, Trimble) to resolve technical issues
- Support field surveying operations as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, models, and technical documents
- Promote safe use of technology to improve jobsite safety and reduce rework
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3 years of experience with machine control, GPS, or construction technology
- Experience with systems like Topcon and Komatsu required (Trimble preferred)
- Strong understanding of construction operations and jobsite workflows
- Comfortable troubleshooting issues in the field and working independently
- Willingness to travel to job sites as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to train field personnel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer proficiency required
