📍 Location: South Hill, VA (Travel Required)

Gregory Construction, a Christian-principled, award-winning contractor, is looking for an Construction Site Tech to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in delivering accurate and efficient survey layouts for large-scale heavy civil and mission-critical projects across the region.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform high-accuracy layout, as-built, and topographic surveys
• Operate Trimble S7 Total Stations, TSC7 Controllers, and Topcon GPS equipment with Pocket 3D software
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and project documentation
• Collaborate with field crews, engineers, and supervisors to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Travel regularly to various job sites as required
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• 3 years of field surveying experience in construction environments
• Proficiency with Trimble S7 and Topcon GPS equipment
• Strong understanding of construction phases and site processes
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and point management
• Familiarity with GPS Machine Control systems (Komatsu/TOPCON)
• OSHA 30 Certification and Autodesk Construction Cloud knowledge
