Position Summary (Seasonal, Part-Time)
We are seeking a dedicated and spiritually mature Summer Program Assistant to provide strong Christian leadership in the classroom and a fun atmosphere for students who attend the daycare and elementary summer program.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a strong Christian role model for students
- Introduce age-appropriate activities across all developmental domains (cognitive, social, emotional, and physical)
- Maintain open, professional communication with parents
- Work cooperatively and professionally with the director and all staff members
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding students and families
- Keep classroom neat, organized, and conducive to learning
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in a childcare or preschool setting
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Ability to integrate Christian faith into daily instruction and classroom culture
