Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid services.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical system concerns.
• Use diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and technical resources to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
• Complete repairs according to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards.
• Document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and parts required accurately.
• Communicate repair recommendations and diagnostic findings to service advisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow dealership procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable safety requirements.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Participate in paid training and stay current with automotive technology and repair procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair procedures.
• Ability to use diagnostic scanners, shop equipment, and technical information systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service department.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• ASE certifications, manufacturer certifications, or experience with CDJR vehicles are a plus.
• Willingness to participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
