Team One Nissan of Albertville is looking for talent for our Service Department! We need Experienced Car Techs and Lube Techs to support our service growth. We are looking for reliable and motivated automotive dealership Service Technicians to join our team!
The ideal Technician candidate will have demonstrated experience as an automotive technician of at least 2 years with high quality vehicle maintenance and repair; who can maintain, repair and deliver vehicles while providing exceptional service to customers. This candidate should feel confident working independently or in a team environment.
Technicians with an ASE certificate are highly encouraged to apply!
Working as a Lube technician is a great way to get into the automotive industry. Lube technicians are responsible for vehicle maintenance and light care like oil changes and tire rotations. Lube technician jobs require careful attention to detail and the ability to easily adapt to new technologies.
Pay is commensurate with experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Checks all fluids and maintenance-related parts and tops-off or replaces fluids or filters/parts as required
Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions
Uses power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Performs other duties as assigned
- ASE Certification or Graduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair
- At least two years of experience as an automotive technician, Preferred
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Have working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment and lift operation
- Must be able to read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
