This is a hands-on role suited for a strong sourcing leader who enjoys building new processes and partnering cross-functionally in a dynamic and growing company. This is on-site position at our corporate office located at 2540 North 1st Street, Suite 300, San Jose, CA.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing initiatives across key spend categories, including (but not limited to) fleet, parts, equipment, MRO, facilities, indirect, and services.
- Develop and execute category strategies that optimize supplier base, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), and ensure continuity of supply. Work closely with Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Safety to align sourcing initiatives to business priorities.
- Lead complex supplier negotiations focused on pricing, service levels, and long-term value creation.
- Increase contract coverage and spend visibility using centralized procurement systems and processes.
- Serve as a primary relationship manager for strategic and critical suppliers to ensure competitive cost, delivery, quality, responsiveness, sustainability, and innovation.

- Design repeatable sourcing processes and templates (RFx frameworks, scoring models, supplier onboarding workflows).
- Identify savings opportunities through supplier consolidation, volume leverage, competitive events, and commercial optimization.
- Support business continuity planning and mitigate supply disruptions across critical spending categories.
- Monitor supplier risk, market trends, and inflationary pressures to proactively adjust sourcing strategies.
- Strong track record of cost reduction, supplier performance management, and contract negotiation (NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, etc.).
- Familiarity with procurement policy, commercial terms, sustainability standards, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Cross-functional program management skills and the ability to train internal teams to adopt new procurement processes and tools.
- Expertise in the full suite of Microsoft 365 business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
- High proficiency in procurement technology and systems (Coupa preferred) as well as ERP/MRP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Experience in the waste management, environmental services, or vehicle fleet management industries is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 4 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcingorprocurement.
- Exposure to both established organizations and growth-stage/startup environments preferred.
- Proficient in English (verbally and in writing) is required. Proficiency with Spanish is considered highly favorable.
- Ability to physically push, pull and lift 25-30 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk in an office environment for 6-10 hours a day
- Travel up to 25% via ground and air to work remotely at GreenWaste facilities, supplier sites, and industry/functional events.
- Typical work week is Monday through Friday in an office setting with occasional travel to GreenWaste facilities.
- Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, odors and dust associated with facility operations.

Salary : $135,000 - $155,000
