Responsibilities
- Operate lawn mowers, tractors, irrigation systems, and other power tools to maintain fairways, greens, and surrounding landscapes
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including trimming, edging, planting, and gardening to uphold course aesthetics
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Use hand tools and landscaping equipment to repair or replace damaged turf or landscaping features
- Assist with general land management activities such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control
- Maintain equipment by performing basic repairs and cleaning after each use to ensure safety and efficiency
- Support overall course beautification efforts by adhering to horticultural best practices and safety standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance, lawn care, or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is highly desirable
- Ability to operate machinery safely while following all safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to land management tasks
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles or interest in learning about plant care and landscaping techniques
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
