The actual salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. Greenlight Networks is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our vehicle fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring efficient maintenance, compliance, and cost-effective operations.
Essential Functions
- Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies and policies to optimize the utilization of company vehicles.
- Monitor and maintain the fleet inventory, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Manages, purchasing, insurance, and related record keeping for fleet vehicles.
- Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective services.
- Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and driver behavior, and provide regular reports to management.
- Prepare financial and forecasting needs for fleet and present to leadership and investment teams.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and applicable regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced negotiation skills and knowledge.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Ability to self-check own work with attention to accuracy; innate big picture sensibility when required.
- Strong desire to be on a high growth, winning team, working side-by-side with passionate, purposeful people; naturally curious.
- Self-starter and finisher; proven experience taking initiative.

- Ability to Travel to all company markets along the Northeast.
- A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and the ability to maintain insurability under the company's auto policy are essential.
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of experience.
- Proficient in using fleet management software, databases, and other relevant tools.
- Proficiency with Excel/Word/Powerpoint.
