Position OverviewGreenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine to join an established urgent care facility in the Bronx, NY. This is a flexible position available as full-time, part-time, or per-diem.
Responsibilities- Conduct physical exams and assess patient health
- Diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide education on health maintenance, hygiene, diet, and medications
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., urinalysis, blood tests, wound cultures)
- Treat minor injuries (cuts, wounds, infections) using sterile techniques
- Order and interpret X-rays and laboratory tests
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals regarding patient care plans
- Provide counseling for behavioral health concerns when needed
- Document visits and follow standard protocols for urgent care settings
- Licensure: Active New York State NP License
- Certification: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
- Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 annually
