The Bell Captain (Supervisor) oversees the daily operation of the hotel’s shuttle services and valet. This role ensures seamless guest arrivals and departures, maintains the highest standards of safety and hospitality, and provides direct leadership to the Shuttle Driver and Valet team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, service-driven leader who excels in communication, coaching, and operational coordination within a professional environment understanding variety of responsibilities including valet, shuttle driving, luggage assistance, and service coordination, all while upholding Radisson and GHG standards of excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing
May include but not limited to:
- Lead, train, and coach shuttle drivers and guest service associates to uphold luxury service standards and safety protocols.
- Prepare staffing schedules, conduct shift briefings, and provide real-time support to ensure smooth operations.
- Foster a positive, professional, and service-driven team culture.
- Oversee all guest transportation, including route planning, pick-up/drop-off coordination, and schedule adjustments.
- Conduct and monitor vehicle inspections, cleanliness, maintenance needs, and required documentation.
- Operate the shuttle when needed during peak periods or staffing gaps.
- Ensure a welcoming and seamless arrival and departure experience for guests and VIPs.
- Assist with luggage handling, valet coordination, and delivery of guest items when necessary.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns with empathy, accuracy, and adherence to hotel standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to support daily operations and special events.
- Oversee bell stand inventory, supply ordering, and equipment readiness.
- Maintain logs, reports, safety documentation, and incident records.
- Identify potential service gaps or safety risks and implement timely solutions.
- Recommend updates to SOPs and operational processes to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor performance metrics, guest feedback, and operational results to uphold excellence.
- Practice good stewardship of company resources, time, and equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
- Ambassador for Radisson and GHG standards
What You Need for this Position
- 2–3 years of guest services or bell/valet experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices, local navigation, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license with clean record; able to operate manual/automatic vehicles.
- Must be 21 years of age
- Consistent Four-Diamond service delivery with strong guest interaction and problem-solving skills.
- Clear, professional communication with guests, VIPs, and internal teams.
- Experience coaching, scheduling, and guiding bell/valet teams.
- Able to manage peak periods, group movements, and special events.
- Proficient with hotel systems (PMS/POS, work orders, communication tools).
- Knowledge of safety procedures, VIP protocols, and transportation/luggage coordination.
- Strong accuracy in logs, inventories, and package tracking.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs., be on feet for long periods, and work outdoors.
- Professional appearance, dependable, and discreet.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and event-heavy periods.
