Position Overview
Greener Group is seeking a highly organized and hands-on Fuel Manager to oversee all fuel operations across our projects. This role is responsible for managing fuel deliveries, coordinating driver schedules, maintaining fuel inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to step in and support daily operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete operation of fuel delivery services for all job sites
- Schedule and coordinate daily routes for fuel drivers
- Manage incoming fuel deliveries and ensure proper storage and documentation
- Maintain accurate fuel inventory levels across all locations and equipment
- Coordinate fuel logistics for new equipment and job site setups
- Ensure all equipment meets compliance standards and is up to date on inspections
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols related to fuel handling and transportation
- Fill in as a driver when needed due to staffing shortages or increased demand
- Track usage, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvements to optimize operations
- Maintain records of deliveries, inspections, and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fuel operations, logistics, construction, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Knowledge of fuel handling, safety regulations, and compliance standards
- Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to be hands-on and assist in field operations when necessary
- Valid driver’s license required (CDL not required, but a plus)
