Position Summary

Greener Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Excavating Working Foreman to join our team. This is a full-time salaried position with a company vehicle provided. The ideal candidate will lead crews in the field while actively participating in daily excavation operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This position offers opportunities to work on both prevailing wage and private sector projects, including residential, commercial, and municipal site work.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on excavation and site work duties with minimal supervision
• Supervise and coordinate field crews to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Maintain a safe work environment for employees, subcontractors, and customers
• Provide project progress updates to customers and management as needed
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and site layouts
• Shoot grades and ensure work is completed according to project requirements
• Maintain Greener Group’s high standards for workmanship and professionalism
• Promote customer satisfaction through quality work and effective communication
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors as necessary
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications

• Experience in excavation, utility, and site work operations
• Knowledge of shooting grades and operating grade equipment
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license required
