Class B CDL Driver

Job description:

Greener Group is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Class B CDL Driver to join our growing team!

Job purpose:

Aid in the execution of commercial landscape installation projects through driving and operating a hydro seeder and a cement mixing truck.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road.
• Ensure the safety of each delivery from start to finish.
• Treat each vendor and employee professionally providing excellent customer and vendor service.
• Always ensure a safe work zone by following DOT, OSHA and common-sense regulations.
• Complete pre and post trip inspections.
• Completing Greener Group required paperwork accurately.
• Complete and fill out all logs and government required paperwork accurately, legibly and timely.
• Ability to learn how to hydroseed and use the concrete mixer.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class B CDL license.
• Current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug and alcohol screens as needed.
• Respectable Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
• Three to five years of driving experience.
• Willingness to be part of a team to get the job done.

Working conditions:

• On the road during the days but home each evening.
• At the Greener Group shop, jobsites and vendor sites to load and dispense product.
• Early hours and later evenings. Includes weekend work.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to sit for longer periods of time.
• Ability to stand and walk.
• Eye hand coordination.
• Ability to see.
• Ability speak, read, write in English.

• Company driver

Experience:

• Commercial Driving: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL B license and a respectable driving record? (Preferred)
