Position: Medical Lab Scientist

Location: Morrisville, NC

Pay: $23 to $25/hour

Experience: 0–2 years of experience in a clinical testing, regulated laboratory, or high-throughput laboratory environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a physical, biological, or related science, such as chemistry, biology, clinical chemistry, or biochemistry.

Type: Full-time; Temporary (3 to 5 month assignment)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift

Greene Resources is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Prepare solutions and standards, aliquot samples, and support extraction-related preparation activities in accordance with established protocols.
• Sort, plate, transfer, and organize biological samples while maintaining sample integrity and accurate chain-of-custody documentation.
• Operate laboratory instruments and automation systems, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and system performance checks.
• Perform and document work within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Follow sample storage, inventory management, safety, quality, and compliance procedures.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of biological systems, laboratory operations, and common analytical workflows, including chromatography, mass spectrometry, and laboratory automation.
• Experience with laboratory automation systems, liquid handling robotics, or LIMS is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow written procedures, and commitment to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
