Job Description
- Prepare machines to start a production cycle, performing calibration, cleaning, and other activities.
- Monitor and properly adjust machine settings.
- Supply raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
- Check parts with precision using appropriate measuring tools.
- Conduct tests to check the operation of machines on a regular basis.
- Troubleshoot issues that might occur during the shift.
- Verify output to detect any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
- Create and manage records of approved and defective units or final products.
- Create and maintain activity logs.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Must be comfortable working in variable temperatures.
- Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Significant experience with diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools, such as a caliper, is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent understanding of production procedures and good ability to read and implement blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Strong communication skills.
