Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Boat Yard Crew member to join our team in Grand Rivers, KY. The ideal candidate will assist with the maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of boats and the boat yard facilities. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with launching, hauling, and moving boats safely within the yard.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of boats and yard equipment.
• Help with minor repairs and preparation of boats for storage or service.
• Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, trailers, and boat lifts following safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support the team with loading and unloading supplies and materials.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a boat yard, marina, or related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
• Basic mechanical skills and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions. The role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
