What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waiter/Server position at Green Tea Sushi?
Green Tea Sushi is a small local owned business in Manhattan, Kansas. We are a Japanese restaurant that specializes in sushi, hibachi, ramen and much more. Our goal is to create a fun and innovative dining experience for our customers!
We are currently seeking for a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Server.
Server duties and responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments through the cash register
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food preparation
- Handle cash transactions, including giving change and processing credit card payments
- During every shift there will be cleaning duties and other side work to be completed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent multitasking skills to handle multiple tables and orders simultaneously
Qualifications/Skills :
-Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years of age or older as required by state law to serve alcohol beverages
- Must be able to work in a standing position for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to work under stress, have excellent organizational skills and multi-task throughout shifts
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour
