What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Specialist position at GREEN PLANET GROCERY?
We are looking for a retail sales associate to work in a small family owned natural food store. Good customer service is a must, knowledge about natural foods is helpful but not required. Hours would be mainly closing shifts (12:30-8:30 PM), some opening/midday shifts (9-5/10-6), and weekends. Lots of opportunity to work in various parts of the store including produce, supplements, inventory and health and beauty products.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Cashing people out using POS system
- Answering the phone
- Answer customers questions
- Assisting customers to find products
- Cleaning and closing procedures
- Straightening shelves and restocking as needed
- Receiving shipments and entering new items into POS
- Making smoothies in our café
Skills
- Knowledge about supplements and/or natural foods helpful but not necessary
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Problem solving/handling customer complaints
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
- Reliable to work the shifts you are scheduled
- Experience using a POS system
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.75 - $17.00 per hour
