What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Operator - 2nd and 3rd shift position at Green Leaf, Inc.?
Green Leaf is looking for Press Operators on 2nd shift and 3rd shift to join our team. This individual will provide a variety of responsibilities including:
- Monitor molding process on multiple presses at a time.
- Unload the product from machine, separate, sort, gauge, and trim (as necessary).
- Perform quality inspections and document results.
- Prepare and label boxes for product.
- Package product for shipment.
- Maintain and record product totals.
- Communicate important information with the appropriate parties (materials, quality, other operators, management)
- Perform housekeeping items to ensure the workplace is clean and free of safety concerns.
- Perform basic troubleshooting.
- Follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math and reading/comprehension skills
- Basic problem solving skills

This position requires good eye, hand, foot coordination. The employee lifts up to 50 lbs. frequently.

The work environment is a normal injection molding manufacturing facility. Employees may be exposed to heat and humidity, moving parts, noise and vibration.
