What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secondary Operator position at Green Leaf, Inc.?
Green Leaf is looking for Secondary Operators on 1st shift, 2nd shift and 3rd shift (Monday - Friday) to join our team. This individual will provide a variety of responsibilities including:
Secondary Operator responsibilities:
- Verify setup and materials needed based on product specifications.
- Operate Mill and Lathe machines.
- Assemble product and label. (Trimming may be required based on product specifications.)
- Restock materials as necessary.
- Perform quality inspections.
- Maintain and record product totals.
- Perform housekeeping items to ensure the workplace is clean and free of safety concerns.
- Maintain equipment (clean, refill coolant and remove scrap material).
- Follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math and reading/comprehension skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Basic problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to stand. This position requires good eye, hand, foot coordination. The employee may lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.

The work environment is a normal injection molding manufacturing facility. Employees may be exposed to heat and humidity, moving parts, noise and vibration.
