What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2ND SHIFT OPERATOR position at GENERAL SHALE?
2nd Shift Manufacturing Operator:
3pm to 12:30am, Monday thru Friday, weekends/ OT as needed
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Operating automated manufacturing equipment
Able to work independently
Basic Computer skills
Cleaning and preventative maintenance duties
Minimum Job Requirements:
GED or High School Diploma
Two year degree is a plus
Valid Indiana Driver License is required and reliable transportation
Prior forklift training or experience is a plus in addition to some mechanical aptitude
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
Must be able to physically lift 50lbs regularly, and work in hot/cold environments
