Job Summary
Green Earth Landscapes is looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. The Assistant Project Manager plays a key role in ensuring our projects run smoothly while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Working closely with our Project Manager and Estimator, you'll serve as one of the primary points of contact for customers throughout their project. A large part of this position involves visiting job sites, communicating with customers, answering questions, addressing concerns, and finding solutions to challenges that may arise.
In addition to customer communication, you'll assist with project coordination by delivering materials, checking on job progress, supporting our field crews, and helping keep projects organized and on schedule. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, enjoys problem-solving, has excellent communication skills, and takes pride in providing outstanding customer service while representing Green Earth Landscapes professionally.
Responsibilities
- Visit active job sites to monitor project progress.
- Check in with customers throughout the project and address questions or concerns.
- Assist the Project Manager and Estimator with daily operations.
- Deliver materials, tools, and supplies to job sites as needed.
- Transport materials, equipment, paperwork, and other items between job sites and the office.
- Take progress photos and provide project updates.
- Verify crews have the necessary materials and information before work begins.
- Help maintain project schedules and communicate updates to the office.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards.
- Assist with job site organization and maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Represent Green Earth Landscapes with professionalism and exceptional customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable working both outdoors and in an office environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Landscaping or construction experience is preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
