Driver-Inventory Specialist - Cannabis

We are currently hiring for the Driver Inventory Specialist at $18.00/hr.

Interviews will be conducted on-site and typically last between 30 minutes and one hour. Please note that all candidates must be 21 years of age or older to interview.

Green Dragon has 41 dispensary locations throughout Florida! We are seeking a motivated candidate with a strong work ethic for our Driver-Inventory Specialist position in Palatka, Florida.

Primary Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders for the store and production work center replenishment orders
• Managing inventory at the hub and retail stockroom to ensure accurate inventory levels to prevent stock outs through schedule cycle counts
• Intake incoming shipments from the distro hub or from 3rd party vendor
• Maintaining quality standards so that customers are always receiving products that are of the highest quality
• Adhering to compliance protocols to remain compliant with OMMU
• If at a satellite hub: Processing returns to be sent back to distro hub, and assisting the retail staff with other operations as needed

Secondary Responsibilities

You will be required to drive 3-4X per week

• Driver
• Load cargo van the morning of delivery
• Check accuracy of manifests and physical product
• Drive cargo van to deliver products to retail locations within the satellite hub’s region on planned route days
• Adhere to drop off procedures to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location
• Pick-up an returns
• Responsible for following vehicle maintenance schedules to insure vehicle is operating at optimal levels
• Oil Changes, tune-ups, tire rotation, cleaning van, etc…
• Maintaining accurate logs for services and fuel
• Adhere to Florida OMMU driver guidelines

Job Skills and Requirements

• Florida Driver’s License
• Clean driving record
• 2 years’ experience driving cargo vans or similar large vehicles
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience
• Understanding of inventory management processes
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to successfully pass a Level 2 background screening and MVR report

Willing and able to submit fingerprints for a Level 2 background screening upon hire
