Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their needs, and provide helpful information about our services
- Assist customers with drop-off and pick-up of garments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in transactions
- Operate dry cleaning equipment safely and follow proper cleaning procedures to maintain high-quality results
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including laundry stations and customer waiting areas, adhering to health and safety standards
- Manage basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, or billing purposes
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the facility to ensure a welcoming environment for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential!
- Knowledge of dry cleaning or laundry processes is a plus but can be learned on the job
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cashiering tasks
- Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
- Experience with hotel or hospitality environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
