Want to work in a creativity driven culinary environment, utilizing state of the art equipment in a newly renovated kitchen? Now hiring Kitchen Worker that have a strong work ethic, get along with their teammates, and help in the production of delicious meals in a time efficient manner. Full time positions come with a nice package of benefits and paid time off. The Kitchen Worker is responsible for preparing meals, serving, and clean up after all meals.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for residents and staff on the weekends and assist the Supervisor in weekday meal preparations.
- Unload bi-weekly food order, bring in deliveries and rotate stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen and food storage areas.
- Develop an ongoing inventory system.
- Record number of meals served and number of people that eat at each meal.
- Meet with the Director of Food Services and Kitchen Supervisor on weekly basis.
- Set tables and get dining area ready for meal service.
- Prepare hot meals, salads and cold foods. Portion desserts and salads. Operate dishwasher, wash pots and pans, and clean other kitchen utilities, daily.

This is a full time, benefit eligible position in a 12 month school setting.
The rate for this role is $16.00- $17.92 per hour.
MINIMUM QUALIFICTIONS
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent); culinary education and experience.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, nutritional requirements and Board of Health Safety Regulations.
- Food service experience in a residential setting preferred.
