Direct Care Worker – 1st and 3rd Shifts

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Green Acres of Lowell, a beautiful, assisted living community located just 13 miles east of Grand Rapids, is currently seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers for all shifts. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our senior residents while working in a supportive, team-focused environment.
No license or prior experience is required — we provide paid, on-the-job training for the right candidates.
Pay & Schedule
1st Shift
- 6:00am-2:00pm
- $17.00
- 24-32 hours per week
3rd Shift
- 10:00pm – 6:00 am
- $18.00/hour
- 24-32 hours per week
Schedule includes every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure resident safety and comfort
- Assist with medication administration as trained
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement of independence
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal service
- Accurately document care and report any changes in resident condition
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Compassionate, dependable, and a strong team player
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- No certification required — paid training provided
