Stamping Technican

We’re seeking a mechanically skilled Stamping Technician to support production operations, maintain stamping tools, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure components meet quality standards.

This hands-on position is for someone who can bring strong technical skills to the team while developing the leadership skills needed to advance to a Shift Leader role. Hours: Monday – Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Pay: $20.00/HR. Weekly pay

Position: Temp-to-hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Review technical drawings, production requirements, and deadlines with supervisors.
• Repair, modify, and maintain stamping tools to meet production specifications.
• Inspect and test tooling to ensure dimensional accuracy and proper functionality.
• Operate stamping presses and perform reel and coil changes as needed.
• Troubleshoot tooling and production issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform maintenance and recommend process improvements.
• Assist with laser welding and repair tooling components as needed.
• Support spare parts management for stamping tools.
• Train and assist team members with stamping processes.
• Support integrating additional stamping equipment.
• Perform quality checks and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work overtime, including weekends, when required.

Qualifications:

• Completed toolmaker apprenticeship or equivalent training preferred.
• 2 years of experience in toolmaking, stamping, or a related manufacturing role.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience setting up and operating production machinery.
• Strong knowledge of stamping tools and equipment.
• Understanding of quality inspection procedures and dimensional accuracy.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and help train team members.
• Interest in developing leadership skills and taking on additional responsibility.
