Mold Operator

Looking forward to your next opportunity in manufacturing? We’re hiring a dependable Mold Operator to join a production team that manufactures plastic components for automotive electrical connectors.

In this hands-on role, you’ll monitor molded parts, perform quality inspections, package finished products, and help keep production running safely and efficiently. Candidates with injection molding experience are encouraged to apply, but those with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are also welcome to be considered.

Hours: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, 12-hour shifts rotating every 2 days

Pay: $17.00/HR. Weekly pay

Position: Temp-to-hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Inspect molded plastic parts for defects, including excess material, burns, incomplete molding, and broken features.
• Perform fit and function tests to ensure parts meet quality requirements.
• Package finished products, apply labels, and move parts to designated storage or shipping areas.
• Communicate quality concerns to the Shift Leader and Quality team.
• Accurately complete measurements and production documentation.
• Keep machines and work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow company safety procedures and workplace organization standards.
• Support production goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous injection molding experience preferred; 2 years is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift to 35 pounds.
