WSUUSD - Facilities Director- Wells Springs Unified Union School District is hiring a Facilities Director starting July 1, 2026 Job Summary: This is a full-time salaried position. This role requires collaboration with administrators, management of custodians, scheduling projects for the school with outside vendors, and an overall desire to keep schools clean and safe. The candidate should be hard working, dependable, and motivated. Key Responsibilities: Job duties entail but are not limited to the following: -Management of 2.0 full time employees across two buildings including scheduling and supervision, enhancing productivity of personnel and achieving objectives within budget -Assistance with cleaning, organizing, and every day needs of the building, especially in the absence of custodian -Ordering custodial supplies and inventory management -Minor repairs, as well as coordinating large scale repairs and projects with outside vendors -Code enforcement and physical safety of equipment inside and outside -Understanding of commercial heating and ventilation systems required and the ability to be on call for building emergencies -Prepares a wide variety of written materials for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information -Documentation of contractors, numbers, projects, W2s, insurances, quotes, and contracts -Monitors budget allocations and expenditures, and ensures that expenses are within budget limits and fiscal practices are followed. -Works closely with both administrators, checking in daily, and updating reports for the board Qualifications: -Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred. -Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in repair or custodial work preferred. -Skills: Ability to manage others Dependability and integrity Ability to manage spreadsheets to document work and vendor information Minor repair work Work Hours & Environment: Work hours are from 7:00AM-3:00PM.This position reports directly to school administration and works in two buildings, Wells Village School and Middletown Springs Elementary School. Start Date: July 1, 2026 Salary range: $55,000-$65,000
