What are the responsibilities and job description for the GRCSU- Physical Therapist position at Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union?
GRCSU- Physical Therapist - Greater Rutland County Supervisory Union is looking for a full-time physical therapist to provide physical therapy services to students. The Physical Therapist will be expected to understand school based physical therapy practice with responsibilities to evaluate students, determine appropriate goals, work collaboratively with other team members, assess progress, and attend meetings.
Job Requirements:
Selecting, administering and interpreting and providing written reports on a variety of screening instruments and standardized measurement tools
Examining and evaluating eligible students’ strengths and needs to establish their ability to participate in meaningful school activities and routines with or without assistance
Participating in team meetings, including parent conferences
Participating in the IEP process, including collaboratively determining the need for physical therapy as a related service (IDEA) and writing goals when appropriate
Provide direct service to students in person
Functioning as a consultant to other school personnel, parents, and students to coordinate the delivery of physical therapy services
Selecting, modifying, or customizing adaptive equipment and assistive technology Monitoring and reporting on student progress
At least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred
Master’s degree in physical therapy preferred.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
