Position Overview: The Facility Manager will manage and oversee the maintenance, security and compliance of the building and grounds to ensure a compliant, clean, safe, efficient and cost-effective environment.
Position Responsibilities: The Facility Manager will oversee the daily operations of GLSS buildings, grounds, and equipment. Includes interior and exterior building maintenance and upkeep throughout the year and within various weather conditions. Includes managing the maintenance team and vendors, ensuring code compliance and maintaining and upgrading building systems. This position is a working manager position and requires the ability to work with the team to proactively maintain and manage the building, the grounds and building systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field required with two (2) years of directly related facility management experience or high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least five (5) years of directly related facility management experience in lieu of degree.
- General knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, general repair and professional industrial cleaning is required
- OSHA compliance knowledge required
- Comprehensive understanding of facilities management, equipment repair and preventive maintenance programs.
- Understanding of building systems, safety standards and maintenance protocols
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with GLSS employees, vendors, community partners and other business partners.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer focus
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on safety, business needs and customer satisfaction
- Must be highly responsive with demonstrated ability to manage projects and routine tasks, independently, effectively and timely
- Ability to process information accurately and to make appropriate decisions based on the specific situation and circumstances
- Ability to work in and be accepting of a multicultural environment is a must
- Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information and documentation with discretion and according to GLSS policy and HIPAA guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and work order management systems required
- Ability to work beyond regular business hours to manage after-hours emergencies, on-call duties, and scheduled events and activities
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, dependability and commitment to consistently meeting responsibilities and deadlines
Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Fully In office, required
Page Range: $75,000-$90,000 per year
