- Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing concerns, calming distressed owners, and scheduling appointments with professionalism.
- Manage lobby flow effectively, handling inquiries, medication pickups, and providing information on services and products.
- Assist with basic medical emergencies, prioritizing safety and well-being of both pets and owners.
- Process transactions accurately, reconciling cash drawers and performing end-of-day duties.
- Maintain accurate records, input data into practice management software, and facilitate billing and accounts.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on courteous and prompt assistance.
- Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities, with strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, with an ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds safely.
