We are seeking a skilled Pet Care Professional to join our team at Great Lakes Equine Wellness Center. As a key member of our staff, you will provide exceptional customer service and support in various aspects of our veterinary hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Provide courteous and prompt assistance to clients and their pets
- Manage lobby flow, address concerns, and schedule appointments
- Handle basic medical emergencies for pets and owners
- Assist with medication pickups, inquiries, and provide information about services and products
- Input and manage data in practice management software
- Assist with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records
- Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records
- Excellent customer service skills and accurate cash handling abilities
- Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
