Great Basin Physical Therapy & Performance Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic practice in Minden, Nevada. This position is ideal for a therapist who enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients, providing hands-on care, and developing individualized treatment programs that help people return to the activities and lifestyles they value.
Our clinic provides a personalized, whole-body approach to physical therapy with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, spinal conditions, manual therapy, functional training, and performance. We work with patients across the lifespan and strive to create a comfortable, positive, and active environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
- Provide skilled outpatient physical therapy treatment for orthopedic, musculoskeletal, spinal, sports, and post-surgical conditions.
- Utilize manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, functional training, balance and gait activities, and patient education as appropriate.
- Develop progressive home exercise programs tailored to each patient's goals and abilities.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and functional outcomes.
- Educate patients regarding injury prevention, movement mechanics, exercise, and strategies for maintaining long-term function.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic environment.
Ideal Candidate

- Holds a physical therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Holds or is eligible for a Nevada Physical Therapist license.
- Has a strong interest in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
- Enjoys combining hands-on treatment with exercise and functional rehabilitation.
