Summary
Outgoing, positive, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and professional. Takes care of clients, helping them to feel appreciated, important, and included. Receives, inspects, details out, barcodes, and sells out clothing and other items to be serviced.
Reports directly to the Retail Store Manager
1. Greets all clients entering the retail store with a friendly, upbeat attitude and answers any questions or concerns they have.
2. Welcomes new clients with a gift and follows procedure for onboarding and data capture.
3. Handles clients’ complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
4. Receives cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers; is accountable for amounts received.
5. Ability to calculate charges for all services and to ensure the accuracy of the charges.
6. Handling transactions including verifying customer account numbers and invoices.
7. Accurate, detail-oriented writing of tickets, invoices, and special requests.
8. Works with Retail Store Manager to keep abreast of new promotions and services offered, their features and benefits, and any changes in price.
9. Keeps work area neat and clean.
10. Detailing items.
11. Tagging, barcoding, racking, and inspection of items.
12. Daily reporting and accurate data entry.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
