Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect with a focus on cloud computing, data centers, collaboration architecture, and artificial intelligence (AI). This individual will play a strategic role in shaping the technology landscape and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The position requires cross-functional collaboration across IT disciplines, including infrastructure, networks, security, development, and end-user services.
Responsibilities
- Advise stakeholders and IT leaders on infrastructure, cloud, and collaboration strategies.
- Align enterprise architecture with cloud and digital platform roadmaps.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, vendor strategies, and product roadmaps.
- Define future-state architecture and maintain strategic roadmaps.
- Enforce architectural standards and lead design reviews.
- Lead architectural reviews during demand management and project planning.
- Design and maintain cloud, platform, and infrastructure architectures including high availability and scalability.
- Lead innovation initiatives leveraging AI and cloud solutions.
- Design and implement solutions with Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and other platforms.
- Optimize desktop/server infrastructure for performance and scalability.
- Identify and mitigate architectural and technology risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and frameworks.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses for technology investments.
- Stay active in architecture and tech communities to promote best practices.
Required Experience
- 10 years in IT functions, including enterprise architecture roles.
- Strong experience with Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and collaboration platforms.
- Expertise in cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure).
- Deep understanding of database systems, security, networking, and IT business continuity.
- Familiarity with TOGAF and enterprise architecture methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, both technical and non-technical.
- Proven track record in planning and leading AI and digital transformation initiatives.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Advanced degree or certifications preferred).
