Position Summary
The HR IT Manager provides leadership and oversight for HR and workforce management technology platforms, primarily Oracle HCM Cloud (including Redwood UX) and UKG/Kronos workforce management solutions.
This role acts as a subject matter expert and business partner to HR, Operations, and IT leadership, ensuring systems are stable, well-integrated, and continuously improved. The position also leads application support teams, manages vendors, and contributes to strategic and operational IT planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Oracle HCM Cloud (Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, and related modules)
- Oversee UKG/Kronos workforce management systems including timekeeping, scheduling, and labor tracking
- Serve as primary advisor for HR and workforce technology solutions to business leadership
- Ensure effective adoption and optimization of Oracle Redwood user experience
- Manage configuration, support, and operations of HR and workforce applications
- Oversee integrations between Oracle HCM, UKG/Kronos, Payroll, and downstream systems
- Lead and mentor HR IT application support teams
- Manage vendor relationships and service providers
- Support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and vendor management activities
- Oversee project delivery and ensure alignment with SDLC and IT governance standards
- Contribute to strategic planning for HR and workforce technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years of experience managing technology teams
- 5 years of experience supporting enterprise business applications (HR systems preferred)
- 3 years of people management experience
- Hands-on experience with UKG/Kronos workforce management systems
- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud and Redwood UX preferred
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working within SDLC in enterprise environments
