Description
As a Line Cook at Gravity Haus you're responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes with precision, consistency, and efficiency, ensuring every plate meets our culinary and presentation standards. This hands-on role is an essential part of the kitchen team, contributing directly to smooth service execution and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items during service, maintaining quality, speed, and consistency.
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations.
- Support cross-training efforts and collaborate with other team members.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- 1–2 years of professional cooking experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Food Handler’s Certification (or ability to obtain).
- Stand/walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours).
- Lift, carry, or move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Work in hot, cold, and humid environments.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
