The Maintenance Tech -1 position supports the Facilities Department by working alongside experienced maintenance technicians to perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with facility asset management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist maintenance technicians with routine and preventive maintenance tasks
- Perform light maintenance duties, including basic repairs, adjustments, and inspections
- Support inventorying and tracking of facility equipment, systems, and room locations
- Help document asset information and update maintenance records as needed
- Respond to maintenance service requests under supervision
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all safety regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by Facilities leadership
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in facilities maintenance, building systems, or skilled trades
