Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 1–3 years' experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Understanding of GAAP and standard accounting controls.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software.
- High attention to detail and organizational discipline.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet closing deadlines.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in compiling financial schedules and reports.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Needs to be a team player.
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for day-to-day functions of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Daily postings.
- Preparation of journal entries.
- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Review expense reports for accuracy and compliance.
- Support finance team with month end / year end close.
- Other duties assigned by management.
Physical Demands:
- Occasional lifting.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and to handle other computer components.
- The employee is required to sit, walk, and climb stairs, use computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
