Essential Functions
Operational Leadership:
- Organized, effective communicator, multitasker, problem solver, decisive, strong ethics and good interpersonal skills.

- Experience With ERP/MRP systems and Continuous Improvement Frameworks.
- BS Degree preferably in Engineering, Operations Management, or Related Field.
- 5 Years of Operations or Production Management Experience in Manufacturing
- Microsoft Office – intermediate or advanced skills
- Lean Six-Sigma Green or Black Belt
- PMP or Similar Project Management Training
Essential Functions
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets are met.
- Manage production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Provide operational updates, performance insights, and improvement recommendations to the Director of Operations.
- Collaborate closely with the Process Improvement Manager to plan, execute, and sustain Lean Initiatives across manufacturing.
- Lead and support activities such as Kaizen, 5s, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement process improvements that boost overall efficiency.
- Champion Standardized work, visual management, and continuous improvement culture across the company.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies that improve margins while maintaining quality and safety.
- Analyze scrap, rework, downtime, and operational variances to pinpoint savings opportunities.
- Work with Finance and Supply Chain to optimize usage, inventory levels, and production costs.
- Lead, coach, and develop production managers, supervisors, and front-line teams.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Support training and development on Lean Principles and operational best practices.
- Create and track KPIs such as OEE, Throughput, defect rates, and cost per unit.
- Evaluate performance trends, investigate deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare and present operational performance reports to the Director of Operations.
- Hands on which includes periodically bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing ladders, moving and lifting heavy objects.
- Stand, walk or sit for up to 2/3 of time.
- Overtime may be required at times.
