HOST / HOSTESS
The Aielli Group is looking for a Host or Hostess to join our team. The Host/Hostess responsibilities include greeting guest, providing accurate wait times, and escorting customers to the dining and bar area.
To be successful as a Host/Hostess, you should have solid organizational and people skills to ensure our guest have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guest.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting times.
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
- Provide menus and announce Server name.
- Acknowledge customers upon their departure.
- Maintain a clean reception area.
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (children, elderly).
- Answer incoming calls and address customer inquiries.
- Manage reservations.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess.
- Understand restaurant etiquette.
- Experience managing reservations.
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).

- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Lift at least 10lbs.
- Comply with all food and safety regulations.
